How did the third contemporary issue effect your principles? What more have you found that you need to reasonably respond to these moral issues beyond a set of principles? Are their other skills or knowledge that will make you a more effective ethical being? What are they?

The death penalty.  This issue did effect my principals. one of them are treat others how you would like to be treated. the death penalty, to me, feels like a bit of a contradiction. person A killed person B so person C kills Person A? It doesn't make any sense. do not get me wrong of course murders deserve a punishment. it just isn't right to kill them. 

For me to be able to respond reasonably to these issues, I needed to read the information on them. I also needed to keep an open mind. My Principle are pretty simple. So other than the death penalty the issues really didn't affect my them. To answer all the blogs I needed to go beyond my Principles, I need to find out what I thought was morally right or morally wrong. 


I do not think that there are skills that make you any more ethical. Knowledge however is important. I have found out with the help of this class that I need to be educated on any subject before I can decide whether it is morally right or not.
